It is the biggest stupa in Nepal and the Sacred Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary outside Tibet. Boudhanath was presumably worked in the fourteenth century after the Mughal attacks; different intriguing legends are told with respect to the purposes behind its development. It is the focal point of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist imagery. The stupa is situated in the town of Boudha, on the eastern edges of Kathmandu With distance across of around 100m and 40m tallness, Buddhanath holds its place among the biggest stupas on the planet.

This is additionally UNESCO enrolled World Heritage Site. Bodhanath Stupa and its encompassing have kept the Tibetan culture alive. There are more than 45 Buddhist religious communities committed to various orders of Tibetan Buddhism, in the region of Bodhanath Stupa.
